EgressLite^TM fixtures are extremely durable and built to last. The cover plate and lens housing are constructed of strong, impact resistant plastic. The back box is made of galvanized steel. The fixtures utilize high quality internal components such as bright, 10,000 hour Xenon lamps, a 30 year rated DC motor with gear head, long-life sealed lead calcium batteries, automatic solid state chargers with 120/277 volt universal transformers and combination push to test/AC power illuminated switches. Since EgressLite^TM fixtures are virtually invisible, they are essentially vandal proof and designed for a wide range of commercial and residential applications.
